Weekend and the gym

If you're wondering why I haven't posted anything in the last couple of days, let me tell you, I have a good reason.  We decided to go visit my husband's family up north for the weekend and it was a hectic couple of days before we left trying to pack everything and get everything ready.  We had a pretty nice time with the family but I'm going to admit that as far as eating healthy and staying active I did absolutely nothing.  I know it's taking me quite a bit to get on track, but the fact that I haven't already given up makes me feel like I'm not completely at a loss.
So I told you guys on my last post that I was going to get a gym membership and after spending some time today touring my local 24hfc and YMCA I have to say I feel I'll probably get most out of my YMCA being that I'll be able to take my son with me and have some "mommy and me" time there at no additional fee.  I'm still thinking about both and hopefully tomorrow I will make my decision and start working out more regularly.


  1. Don't give up, no matter if you don't reach the goal that you want, or you didn't exercise as frequently as you hoped for. The real goal is not to give up. That way you make it a life long commitment to do as much as you can without making it a set up for a let down. Just tell yourself to not give up. Glad you got the comments working :)
