So much for having a great day
My day yesterday was going GREAT up until I decided to have a few veggie chip straws and it all went down hill from there:/ so really, my new goal is going to be to STAY AWAY from any crunchy salty snacks because seriously I cannot hold back... I mean I really can't:/ they are so freaking delicious. I'm not even sure how many servings of veggie chips I had but I know it was enough to ruin my day and then I finished off with a slice of pumpkin pie..seriously. Oh well. I feel good today and I plan on eating healthy, working out, and staying away from chips!

I think I am finding that I am the same way with cheese. Even mozzarella. It's just going to have to be black-listed :)
ReplyDeleteKat: I have a few recipes. Do you want it for a dip or to add to something?
ReplyDeleteTry not to beat yourself up about it. That's what I'm trying not to do. Sometimes you have to just eat. Something for tacos/burritos etc would be awesome because all the bottled ones have sugar in them. Thanks!! :-)
ReplyDeletemy absolutely favorite salsa is the green tomatillo one.
ReplyDeleteget One pound of tomatillos and a handful of green serrano peppers, remove husks off tomatillos, wash them and put them in a pot w/serranos (covered) to cook with water until they have softened. Put them all in blender (w/out the water) add a really small bunch of cilatro, two garlic cloves, and a teaspoon or two of salt. Blend and it's done! you can add more cilantro or less depending on how you like it (same thing with the salt). I absolutely LOVE this in burritos, tacos, chilaquiles, you name it! (you can make it without the serranos so it's non-spicy and it's still good but I prefer it better with the serranos even if just a few to give it a little kick makes it super-yummylicious!) Let me know how it comes out for you! Oh and it's great as a dip for tortilla chips....oh yum!
i forgot you can add a little bit of the water you cooked them in to make it less thick.
